Comfort and Firmness

The Helix Midnight Luxe is about a 5.0-5.5 on the scale above, or medium firmness.

The Luxe version of each of the beds that Helix offers has about 2" of additional material and a pillow top, both contributing to a very comfortable nights rest.

Additionally, the Midnight Luxe has zoned lumbar support, which means that there are differently calibrated pocket coils running through the center of the mattress. This helps protect against any sag, or back discomfort for back and stomach sleepers.

The Helix Midnight Luxe is 14" tall. It works fine with all standard foundations, adjustable bases, and box springs.

Delivery

All Helix mattresses are made to order, meaning they are not sitting around in a warehouse ready to ship, but rather, they are built after you order. Helix says that delivery typically takes 6-10 business days. It's a little on the slower side, but we find it completely acceptable due to the fact that they're custom made to order.

Helix wants you to try the mattress out for at least 30 nights before initiating a refund. This may seem strange at first, but several other companies do this as well. After 30 days have passed, you can initiate a 100% money back refund through any of the customer support options.
